The Other Words

these are the other words
that make religious zealots question their otherwise understood faiths
those that question anti-establishmentarianism
in a world that is rooted on foundations of established facts
these are the other words that make educated minds
question the reality of the existence of other worlds
beyond known lands, seas and atmospheres
the other words that beautify acts rebellious violence
making love look childish, courage bullish and authority abusive
these are the other words
that questions man's culture as a way of life
and his spirituality as a way of connectedness
to other realms of this world
unknown even to the most fanatical of the established order
these are the other words that question man's desire
for a future that bears no guarantee
in a world that views the poor as the damned
the rich as the blessed and the middle class
as those of no fixed aboard
whose destiny fate is yet to clarify
these are the other words
whose authority witnessed the birth
of another religious creed and societal order
in a world were men are born nude walk naked
and die dressed in a humanity misunderstood by the naked eye
these are the other words whose viciousness
left religious authority only but clinging to their altars
political authority only but clinging to their military
and those without authority only but clinging to the unknown
these are the other words that carry the tales
of the forces of the other elements
that curved men's skewed mentalities
the other words that question who we are
wondering as to whom we could have been
in a world that chiseled the human skin
to its current rough texture
